Senior Java Developer
We are seeking a Senior Java Developer to join our international cross-functional Scrum team. As a Senior Java Developer, you will play a key role in designing and delivering highly competitive eCommerce platforms to our clients, collaborating with cross-functional teams and contributing to the enhancement of user experiences. You will be responsible for promoting technical excellence in the delivery of new capabilities that meet market needs and support our rapidly growing business.
responsibilities
- Design and deliver standardized and well-documented web applications
- Promote technical excellence in the delivery of new capabilities that meet market needs and support our rapidly growing business
- Support Software Engineers as required as they learn from you and challenge you to succeed
- Collaborate openly with the team on shared items of work and communicate well in a team-oriented environment across locations
requirements
- BS or MS Degree in Computer Science, Information technology, or equivalent work experience, reflecting your comprehensive skill set
- 3+ years working on enterprise scale web applications, demonstrating your proficiency in Java, OOP, JEE stack/Spring, JMS, Camel, iPaaS, as well as front-end technologies such as JavaScript, React, CanJS
- Experience in AWS
- Experience with automated unit and integration testing
- An agile mindset, valuing respect, collaboration, continuous improvement and learning cycles, pride in ownership, focus on delivering value, flow, and the ability to adapt to change
- Excellent communication skills and a team-oriented mindset
- Fluent spoken and written English at an Upper-Intermediate level or higher
nice to have
- Experience with eCommerce platforms and merchandise vendors
- Familiarity with iPaaS and other integration platforms
- Experience with performance testing methodologies and tools
