Senior Java Developer
We are looking for a talented Senior Java Developer to join our remote team, working on a modern AWS-based solution for a global leader in software solutions. With a legacy of over 170 years in innovation, this company is at the forefront of the industry, providing cutting-edge software solutions to customers worldwide. As a Senior Java Developer, you will play a vital role in designing and developing microservices architecture solutions, collaborating with cross-functional teams and contributing to the enhancement of user experiences.
responsibilities
- Design and develop microservices architecture solutions using Java and Spring Boot
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve development issues, ensuring seamless and user-centered designs
- Optimize development processes by implementing Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment practices
- Contribute to front-end development efforts using JavaScript and ReactJS
- Work with complex data systems, including relational databases and NoSQL databases, especially Oracle
- Participate in design reviews, offering input on requirements, product design, and potential challenges
- Contribute to the preparation of technical documentation, including architecture diagrams, API documentation, and user guides
requirements
- 3+ years of experience in Java development, demonstrating your proficiency in creating high-quality, scalable, and maintainable code
- In-depth knowledge of Spring, Spring Boot, Spring MVC, Spring Data, Spring Cloud, and/or Spring Cloud Streams, highlighting your expertise in microservices architecture solutions
- Experience with relational databases and NoSQL databases, especially Oracle, enabling you to work with complex data systems
- Experience with Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment, especially using Concourse CI or Jenkins, showcasing your ability to optimize development processes
- Proficiency in JavaScript, especially ReactJS, is a plus, allowing you to contribute to front-end development efforts
- Experience with AWS is highly desired, demonstrating your understanding of modern cloud-based solutions
- Fluent spoken and written English at an Upper-Intermediate level or higher, enabling effective communication
nice to have
- Experience with OSS Cloud Foundry, Pivotal Cloud Foundry, or Pivotal Web Services is a big plus
- Familiarity with Ruby on Rails is a plus
- Knowledge of modern web stacks and web application development frameworks is a plus
