Senior Java Developer
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Java Developer with extensive experience in developing and deploying applications on Amazon Web Services to join our remote team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and deploying high-quality applications using Java and related technologies. You will also be responsible for ensuring that our applications are scalable, reliable, and maintainable. responsibilities
- Develop and maintain high-quality software using Java and related technologies
- Design and implement scalable, reliable, and maintainable applications
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and deploy applications on Amazon Web Services
- Ensure that applications are tested, integrated, and deployed using industry best practices
- Troubleshoot and debug complex issues in a timely and effective manner
- Stay up-to-date with emerging trends and technologies in software development and contribute to the continuous improvement of our development processes
requirements
- 3+ years of experience in software development with a focus on Java
- Strong proficiency in Spring Boot and Amazon Web Services
- Experience with ReactJS and other modern front-end technologies
- Expertise in using Jenkins for continuous integration and deployment
- In-depth knowledge of Kubernetes for container orchestration
- Experience with microservices architecture and related design patterns
- Experience with SQL and NoSQL databases
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Fluent English language skills with an upper-intermediate level
nice to have
- Experience with other cloud platforms like Microsoft Azure or Google Cloud Platform
- Experience with other container orchestration tools like Docker Swarm or Apache Mesos
- Experience with other front-end technologies like Angular or Vue.js
- Experience with serverless computing using AWS Lambda or similar services
- Experience with DevOps practices and tools like Ansible, Chef, or Puppet
