Senior Java Developer
We are looking for a Senior Java Developer to join our team, working with a leading global financial services firm. In this role, you will be responsible for developing, testing, and maintaining high-performance Java applications, using the latest technologies and frameworks. You will work closely with other developers, architects, and business analysts to design, develop, and deploy complex systems that meet the needs of our clients. responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain high-performance Java applications, using the latest technologies and frameworks
- Collaborate with other developers, architects, and business analysts to design, develop, and deploy complex systems that meet the needs of our clients
- Write unit tests, integration tests, and automated tests, using tools like JUnit, Mockito, and Selenium
- Participate in code reviews and ensure that code meets the highest standards of quality and maintainability
- Work closely with the QA team to ensure that applications are thoroughly tested and meet the requirements of the business
- Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior developers, helping them to grow and develop their skills
- Stay up-to-date with the latest technologies and frameworks in Java development, and share your knowledge with the team
requirements
- A minimum of 3 years of experience in Java development, with a focus on Java 8, Spring Boot, Spring, and REST API
- Experience in designing, developing, and deploying high-performance, scalable, and reliable Java applications in a distributed environment
- Strong understanding of software development principles, design patterns, and best practices, including Agile methodologies
- Experience in writing unit tests, integration tests, and automated tests, using tools like JUnit, Mockito, and Selenium
- Proficiency in using build tools like Maven and Gradle, and version control systems like Git
- Experience in working with databases like Oracle, SQL Server, and MySQL, and writing complex SQL queries and stored procedures
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment
- Fluent spoken and written English at an Upper-Intermediate level or higher
nice to have
- Experience in working with cloud-based platforms like Azure
- Experience in Payments or Financial Services domain is nice to have
