Senior Java Developer for a British Media Company

Currently, we are looking for a remote Senior Java Developer to join our team.

The customer is a British-based stock exchange and financial information company. It helps companies to raise capital and investors to build their portfolios across a range of global markets.

responsibilities
  • Contribute to developing web applications for the platform configuration and management
    • Contribute to the development of the backend platform
      • Write unit and integration tests to match defined quality gates
        requirements
        • 4+ years of proficiency in Java 8+ (Basic knowledge of Java concurrency)
          • Proficiency in Spring Framework 5/ Spring Boot 2/ Spring MVC
            • Experience with Docker, Git
              • Unit testing experience (Junit 5)
                • Experience working with Maven 3
                  • Understanding of REST API
                    nice to have
                    • Experience with Java 11 (Knowledge of Java concurrency)
                      • Experience with Spring WebFlux / Project Reactor
                        • Experience with Websockets
                          • Experience with any Cloud providers (we use AWS Lambda, Amazon EC2, Amazon S3, Amazon DinamoDb, AWS Fargate)
