Senior Java Developer for a Financial Services Company

We're looking for a remote Senior Developer with strong experience with Spring 8+ and familiarity with AWS RDS or DynamoDB to join our team.

The customer is a provider of investor communications and technology-driven solutions to banks, broker-dealers, mutual funds and corporate issuers. The Company's segments include Investor Communication Solutions, and Global Technology and Operations. The Company delivers a range of solutions that helps its clients serve their retail and institutional customers across the entire investment lifecycle, including pre-trade, trade, and post-trade processing functionality.

Write high-quality code
Offer good solutions for business problems
Work together with other team members on achieving common goal
Perform code review of other team members
Provide estimates for tasks
Communicate with the customer when it is required
Meet deadlines

requirements

3+ years of previous experience in development and operations, or related IT, computer, or operations field
Strong knowledge of Object Oriented Programming concept
Good understanding of EngX practices including DevOps culture, unit testing, refactoring & reducing technical debt
Strong experience in Java development
Strong experience with Spring 8+
Knowledge of Spring Core, Spring Boot
Familiarity with AWS RDS or DynamoDB
AWS Glue understanding
Experience with Apache Kafka and/or Spark and/or Hazelcast/Scala
Proper RDBMS knowledge
TDD or BDD experience
Git/GitLab/GitHub knowledge
Code review experience
Proficient English (written and spoken) B2
