Senior Java Developer for an Analytics Company
Currently, we're looking for a remote Senior Java Developer with 4+ years of experience in software development, and to join our team.
The customer is a global leader in providing trusted insights and analytics that help to increase the pace of innovation.
The focus of the project is data analysis from various sources, including databases and flat files. Also, building enterprise-class web-application with microservice architecture and ETL Development.
responsibilities
- Develop Spring Boot or Netflix OSS based microservices
- Leads technical design reviews, functional specification reviews, and contribute to development project estimates, scheduling, test plans, and code reviews
- Proactively identifies and resolves potential problems/issues including authoring of technical specifications
- Regularly informs manager or handler on progress of project and his/her teammates work, identifying risks early in the process
- Review and suggest the Unit test cases and the testing approach used by the team
- Work with the Architects community and understand overall direction for the organization
- Enforce best coding practices
requirements
- 4+ years of software development experience
- Experience in building microservices using Spring Boot or Netflix OSS
- Experience with AWS
- Knowledge of Java
- Experience with Spring framework
- Experience in developing REST based web services
- Experience with Node.js, Python, HTML5
- Experience with multiple database systems: RDBMS and NoSQL
- Proficient English (written and spoken) B2+
