Senior Java Developer for Healthcare Company

Currently, we are looking for a remote Senior Java Developer to join our team.

The client is a technology-enabled care model powered by a nationally scaled, locally delivered healthcare platform.

responsibilities

Collaborate with Business Analysts, Application Developers, and QA Analysts
Designing and developing low-latency, scalable, high available, distributed application services and delivering high availability and performance
Under existing application architecture
New feature development
Re-usable component creation
Write well-designed, testable, efficient code
Unit tests creation
Perform code review for team members
Performing demos of work completed
Contribute to all phases of the development lifecycle
Apply EPAM EngX and project-specific best practices
Participate in all scrum ceremonies

requirements

3+ years of Java, Spring Boot (Core and Framework)
Microservices and serverless architecture (docker)
Azure functions, service bus, cosmos DB
CI/CD, DevSecOps, setting up and managing Build and release pipelines
Experience mentoring other developers on the team
Take responsibility and accountability for backend code
Story estimation, planning, and timely integration with other stakeholders (product, app, backend, UI/UX, etc)
Performance fixes and optimization
REST API design and finalization
Continuously discover, evaluate, and implement new best practices to maximize development quality efficiency
Strong proficiency in JavaScript, including DOM manipulation and the JavaScript object model
Integration with third-party solutions/services with JSON data via REST API calls
