Senior Java Developer with Data Structures and Algorithms

Our company is currently scouting for a seasoned Senior Java Developer boasting AWS proficiency and deep knowledge of Data Structures and Algorithms. The successful candidate will join our remote team as a Product Engineer.

In this role, you will be tasked with designing and building scalable, maintainable software solutions. Your technology expertise in areas such as Java, Kotlin, Scala, and Go Language, complemented by your proficiency in Spring and Java Microservice Infrastructure, will be essential in this position. You will join a team of developers, testers, and other stakeholders and contribute to the timely and successful delivery of our product.

responsibilities

Collaborating with cross-functional teams to understand project requirements and devise solutions
Designing and implementing scalable, maintainable software solutions
Generating and maintaining clean code
Performing code reviews to ensure coding standards are upheld
Establishing and maintaining automated tests to confirm deliverable quality
Actively participating in the Agile/Scrum development process and ceremonies
Ensuring the timely, high-quality delivery of code
Developing documentation for code and system architecture
Participating in system design and architecture discussions
Providing mentorship and technical advice to junior developers

requirements

A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related field
A minimum of 4 years' experience in software development, with a strong focus on Java
Previous experience with Amazon Web Services (AWS)
Proficient in Data Structures and Algorithms
Previous experience in Kotlin, Scala, or Go Language
Fluent in both SQL and NoSQL, alongside expertise in APIs and Integration
Proficient in Spring and Java Microservice Infrastructure
Familiar with CI/CD processes and tools
A strong sense of ownership and proactive problem-solving approach
Fluent English speakers at an Upper-Intermediate level or higher, with excellent verbal and written communication skills, for successful collaboration with remote teams

nice to have

Prior experience with containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes
Experience working with Big Data technologies like Hadoop and Spark
Familiarity with Machine Learning and Artificial Intelligence technologies
