Senior Java Engineer with Data Structures and Algorithms
We're seeking a seasoned Senior Java Developer well-versed in AWS and possessing deep knowledge of Data Structures and Algorithms to join our remote team.
In the role of a Product Engineer, you will be instrumental in designing and building software solutions that are both scalable and maintainable. You will be expected to use your broad technological acumen spanning Java, Kotlin, Scala, Go Language, Spring, and Java Microservice infrastructure. You will work collaboratively with a team of developers, testers, and other stakeholders to ensure timely and efficient product delivery.
responsibilities
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to comprehend project requirements and develop solutions
- Designing and implementing scalable, maintainable software solutions
- Writing and maintaining code adhering to clean coding practices
- Performing code reviews to ensure compliance with coding standards
- Setting up and maintaining automated tests for quality assurance
- Participating in the Agile/Scrum development process
- Ensuring punctuality and quality of code delivery
- Documenting code and system architecture
- Contributing to system design and architecture discussions
- Offering technical support and guidance to junior developers
requirements
- A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering or relevant field
- Minimum of 4 years' experience in software development with a focus on Java
- Experience with Amazon Web Services (AWS)
- Expertise in Data Structures and Algorithms
- Experience with Kotlin, Scala, or Go Language
- Proficiency with SQL and NoSQL based tools, APIs and Integration
- Familiarity with CI/CD process and tools
- Expertise in Spring and Java Microservice Infrastructure
- High level of ownership and proactive problem-solving approach
- Fluency in English (Upper-Intermediate or above) with excellent verbal and written communication skills for interacting with remote teams
nice to have
- Experience with containerization technologies like Docker and Kubernetes
- Experience in Big Data technologies such as Hadoop and Spark
- Familiarity with Machine Learning and Artificial Intelligence technologies
