We are looking for a Senior Java Engineer with Data Structures and Algorithms to join our remote team. You will be responsible for the improvement and development of our product, demonstrating ownership and a proactive attitude towards problem-solving in a cloud environment. We focus on delivering high-quality products that meet or exceed customer expectations. Your primary skill will be Java; however, you will be expected to have knowledge of a variety of programming languages such as Kotlin, Scala, and Go to ensure the project's success. You will also be expected to have experience with React.js, AWS, and clean code.

responsibilities

Design and implement high-quality software solutions for our product
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and solve complex problems
Lead and mentor junior developers to ensure the quality of their work
Participate in code reviews and ensure adherence to coding standards
Design and implement APIs and Integrations with external systems
Optimize the application for maximum speed and scalability
Participate in the agile development process, including daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and retrospectives
Work closely with stakeholders to elicit and gather requirements
Ensure the delivery of high-quality products that meet or exceed customer expectations
Continuously learn and stay up to date with emerging technologies and best practices

requirements

Minimum of 4 years of experience with Java
Expertise in Data Structure and Algorithms
Proficiency with Kotlin/Scala/Go
Experience with React.js
Expertise with AWS
Knowledge of clean code practices
Experience with Microservices and Spring
Knowledge of System Design
Proficiency with API & Integration Standards
Experience with SQL and NoSQL tools
Experience with CI/CD
Requirement Elicitation experience
B2+ English level proficiency

nice to have

Experience with Docker and Kubernetes
Experience with Elasticsearch
