Currently we are looking for a remote Senior JavaScript Engineer (Node.JS).
As a Senior JavaScript Engineer, you will live on the front lines of the products we create, and build features used by millions of people every day.
Our client is a global diversified media and information services company focused on creating and distributing authoritative and engaging content to consumers and businesses throughout the world. The company comprises businesses across a range of media, including news and information services, book publishing, digital real estate services.
As a member of a team, you will be contributing to the engineering of global mobile platform that allows the creation of native apps for world-leading news media resources.
- Collaborate with teammates to define, design, and shape new features
- Design and develop backend API microservice using Node JS
- Design and develop application in secured AWS environment
- Research and suggest new products, applications and protocols
- Stay up-to-date with new technology trends
- 3+ years of experience in Node.JS + express or GoLang professional development experience
- Experience in designing and developing microservice
- Experience in designing and developing using different cache technologies, i.e. CDN, Redis, Memcached
- Experience in designing and developing high throughput, large scale Web applications
- Experience in the development using cloud environment, experience of using AWS, Kubernetes is a plus
- Experience in developing news, content, mobile applications is a plus
- Good spoken and written English level
