Senior Jira Developer

We are looking for a Senior Jira Developer to join our remote team at a leading US provider of business information, analytics and outsourcing services. As a Senior Jira Developer, you will be responsible for the design, development, and maintenance of asset management and IT service management systems, utilizing your expertise in Jira. You will work closely with stakeholders and other developers to ensure that the systems meet the company's needs and standards.

responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain asset management applications and plugins for Jira
    • Ensure that asset management applications and Jira plugins integrate with our ITSM system
      • Collaborate with other developers, product owners and stakeholders to identify and implement new features and improvements
        • Participate in code reviews and ensure that code quality is maintained at a high level
          • Develop and maintain documentation related to the asset management applications and Jira plugins
            • Provide technical support to end-users and other teams as needed
              requirements
              • At least 3 years of experience in Jira development, with a focus on enterprise-level systems
                • Expertise in Jira plugins, with the ability to customize workflows, screens and fields
                  • Experience with asset management and IT service management systems, including CMDB and ITSM
                    • Experience in developing RESTful APIs and integrating third-party APIs
                      • Strong understanding of object-oriented programming principles and design patterns
                        • Experience with agile development methodologies, such as Scrum and Kanban
                          • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English at an Upper-Intermediate level
                            nice to have
                            • Familiarity with AWS or other cloud platforms
                              • Experience with containerization and orchestration technologies, such as Docker and Kubernetes
