Senior Microsoft Power Apps Developer
We are seeking a Senior Microsoft Power Apps Developer to join our remote team.
In this role, you will be responsible for creating user-friendly applications within the Power Apps platform, integrating data sources, implementing business logic, and providing training and support to end-users. Your expertise in Microsoft Power Platform components like Power Automate and Power BI, as well as Python and Azure DevOps, will enable you to excel in this role.
responsibilities
- Create user-friendly applications using low-code or no-code methods within the Power Apps platform
- Work closely with stakeholders to gather requirements and understand business needs
- Integrate Power Apps with various data sources such as SharePoint, SQL Server, Excel, Dynamics 365, or other APIs to ensure seamless data flow and functionality within applications
- Provide training and support to end-users on how to use Power Apps solutions effectively
- Design and implement data models to support reporting and analytical requirements
- Create visually compelling and interactive reports and dashboards using Power BI Desktop
- Extract, transform, and load (ETL) data from various sources into Power BI using Power Query
- Write and optimize Data Analysis Expressions (DAX) formulas to perform calculations, define measures, and create calculated columns for advanced analytics and KPI tracking
- Design and develop automated workflows to streamline business processes and improve productivity
- Analyze business requirements and design solutions using Power Automate to meet the needs of stakeholders
requirements
- At least 3 years of experience working with Microsoft Power Apps, including canvas apps and model-driven apps
- Expertise in data modeling and relational databases
- A deep understanding of Microsoft Power Platform components such as Power Automate and Power BI
- Experience with Microsoft Azure services and integration capabilities
- Proven experience in Power BI Desktop, data modeling, report design, and DAX programming
- Strong knowledge of data warehousing concepts, ETL processes, and dimensional modeling principles
- Experience with SQL querying and relational database management systems (e.g., SQL Server, Azure SQL Database)
- Familiarity with data visualization best practices and design principles
- Proficiency in Microsoft Power Automate, including creating automated flows, configuring triggers and actions, and designing complex workflows
- Strong understanding of business process automation concepts and workflow automation best practices
- B2+ English level
