Senior .NET Developer
We are seeking a Senior .NET Developer to join our remote team.
The ideal candidate should have at least 3 years of experience in a senior developer role and have a proven track record of delivering stakeholder value. As a Senior .NET Developer, you will be responsible for the development and delivery of our cutting-edge project. You will work with the team to design, develop, and integrate systems from the definition phase through implementation. Your exceptional problem-solving and analytical skills will be instrumental in ensuring that our project meets the highest standards of quality and functionality.
responsibilities
- Coordinate the development of our cutting-edge project and deliver high-quality software solutions on time
- Provide technical direction for the development, design, and systems integration from the definition phase through implementation
- Apply knowledge of industry trends and developments to improve service to our users
- Recognize system deficiencies and implement effective solutions
- Foster an environment of engineering excellence and innovation
- Keep technical debt in check and ensure teams are building using modern practices and approved tools & patterns
- Work with functional specialists, understand business processes, and translate functional specifications into technical requirements
- Work together with and lead other developers, business analysts, and product owners to ensure that new or modified applications are developed using industry-standard design and development practices
- Conduct effective performance evaluations and mentor team members
- Suggest areas for improvement in internal processes along with possible solutions
requirements
- 3+ years of experience in a senior developer role with proven experience in delivering stakeholder value
- Experience with C#/.NET backend or C/C++
- Familiarity with network programming and/or functionality like TCP/IP and UDP multicast
- Proficiency in Microsoft SQL Server 2019
- Experience working with and developing software on Linux and Windows operating systems
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
- Proven technical background with an understanding of various programming styles, frameworks, design patterns, and testing procedures
- Reasonable experience in Business and Technical Analysis, Quality Assurance
- Good communication, presentation, documentation, and interpersonal skills
- Able to self-manage and work independently in a fast-paced environment
- Self-motivated and proactive with proven critical thinking and creative problem-solving skills
nice to have
- Agile development experience is a strong plus
- Knowledge of Java
- Experience with REST, and Web-sockets
