Senior Network Support Engineer
We are seeking a Senior Network Support Engineer to join our remote team, providing on-going day to day support for a global data network
Your primary focus will be designing, developing, and deploying LAN/WAN network infrastructure. This role requires extensive experience in troubleshooting network issues, configuring/installing various network devices and services like routers, switches, firewalls, load balancers, etc., and working within established configuration and change management policies to ensure awareness, approval, and success of changes made to the network infrastructure.

responsibilities
- Provide 3rd level troubleshooting for all LAN/WAN alerts and issues
- Maintain all monitoring and reporting systems
- Produce and maintain documentation related to all systems developed/deployed
- Perform administrative tasks pertaining to time entry and status reporting
- Configure and install various network devices and services (e.g., routers, switches, firewalls, load balancers, VPN, QoS)
- Monitor performance and ensure system availability and reliability
- Monitor system resource utilization, trending, and capacity planning
- Work within established configuration and change management policies
- Select and implement security tools, policies, and procedures in conjunction with the company’s security team
- Liaise with vendors and other IT personnel for problem resolution
- Conduct technical trainings to internal resources
requirements
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in network support and administration, preferably in a global environment
- CCNP Certification is required, with a BA Degree / B.S. Degree
- Expertise in LAN/WAN network infrastructure design, development, and deployment
- Experience in configuring/installing various network devices and services (e.g., routers, switches, firewalls, load balancers, VPN, QoS)
- Expertise in troubleshooting network issues and performing network maintenance and system upgrades
- Expertise in monitoring performance and ensuring system availability and reliability
- Experience in working within established configuration and change management policies
- Expertise in selecting and implementing security tools, policies, and procedures
- Fluency in spoken and written English, allowing effective communication with stakeholders and team members
- Open for 24x7 availability

- Experience with SDWAN – Silver Peak preferred
- Experience with Next Gen Firewalls – Cisco Firepower preferred
- Experience in troubleshooting routing loops
- Know-how to configure/troubleshoot wireless – Cisco WLC preferred
- Experience in configuring/troubleshooting routing protocols – EIGRP, OSPF, BGP
