Senior Node.js Developer
We are looking for a highly skilled Senior Node.js Developer to join our remote team, working on a cutting-edge project in the healthcare industry. As a Senior Node.js Developer, you will be responsible for the development and maintenance of complex backend systems, ensuring high performance, scalability, and reliability. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to design and implement robust solutions that meet the needs of our customers.
responsibilities
- Design and develop high-performance, scalable, and reliable backend systems using Node.js and AWS
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and design solutions that meet customer needs
- Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code, following best practices and coding standards
- Conduct code reviews and provide feedback to other developers to ensure code quality and consistency
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues in production environments, ensuring the smooth operation of systems
- Stay up-to-date with emerging trends and technologies in Node.js development and share knowledge with the team
- Participate in the development of technical specifications, project plans, and other project documentation
requirements
- A minimum of 3 years of experience in Node.js development, with a proven track record of delivering high-quality, scalable solutions
- Expertise in Amazon Web Services (AWS) and experience with databases such as PostgreSQL, MongoDB, MySQL, and Redis
- Proficiency in building RESTful APIs and microservices using frameworks such as Meteor, NestJS, Koa, and Express
- Strong knowledge of software design patterns and architecture principles, with experience in designing and implementing complex systems
- Experience with agile development methodologies and tools such as Jira and Confluence
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams
- Fluent spoken and written English at an upper-intermediate level or higher
nice to have
- Experience with front-end technologies such as React, Angular, or Vue.js
- Knowledge of containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes
- Experience with serverless architectures and AWS Lambda
- Familiarity with DevOps practices and tools such as Jenkins, Ansible, or Terraform
