Senior Performance Test Engineer
We are seeking a dedicated remote Senior Performance Test Engineer who will play a fundamental role in testing the capacity, stability, and scalability of 3rd party applications before they are integrated into our client's system.
This role will develop and execute tests, aiming to ensure the systems are operating at their highest capabilities, providing excellent service to our clients. As a member of our remote team, you will be expected to effectively collaborate with other team members primarily located in North American time zones.

- Develop and execute performance and load tests to ensure systems are operating at their highest capabilities
- Create and maintain performance test plans, including scripts and test data
- Set up performance testing frameworks with persistent test data storage and trend analysis
- Collaborate with the development team to identify and resolve performance issues
- Participate in defect triage discussions and challenge development perception of priority
- Communicate effectively in a startup-like environment with team members
requirements
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in Performance Testing, with a strong focus on analysis and testing fundamentals
- In-depth knowledge and proficiency in Performance Testing Tools like JMeter, LoadRunner, or similar
- Experience with REST API testing and generating test data
- Strong understanding of Generative AI and its applications
- Ability to communicate effectively in a startup-like environment with an Upper-Intermediate level of English proficiency
- Proven experience in creating and executing high-quality performance test plans
- Ability to set up performance testing frameworks with persistent test data storage and trend analysis
- Experience with stubbing/mocking dependencies to facilitate testing
- Capable of monitoring environments under test and identifying performance issues
- Ability to participate in defect triage discussions and challenge development perception of priority
