Senior Python Developer for a Financial Services Corporation

Currently, we are looking for a remote Senior Developer with 3+ years of strong experience with Python and experience with data transformation/data migration projects to join our team.

The customer is a Singaporean multinational banking and financial services corporation operating across 18 markets.

responsibilities
  • Write reusable, testable, and efficient code
    • Development of Microservices and web-services for data extraction/processing
      • Design and implement of low-latency, high-availability, and performant applications
        • Integration of user-facing elements developed by front-end developers with server side logic
          • Implementation of security and data protection
            • Integration of data storage solutions
              • Performance tuning, improvement, balancing, usability, automation
                • Work collaboratively with design team to understand end user requirements to provide technical solutions and for the implementation of new software features
                  requirements
                  • 3+ years of strong experience with Python
                    • Experience with data stack in Python (Dask, Pandas, knowledge of core concepts of big data)
                      • Experience with data transformation/data migration projects (banking would be best fit but experience in other business domains could be considered as well)
                        • Monte Carlo simulation knowledge
                          • Proficient English (written and spoken) B2
