Senior Python Developer for a Financial Services Corporation

Currently, we are looking for a remote Senior Developer with 3+ years of strong experience with Python and experience with data transformation/data migration projects to join our team.

The customer is a Singaporean multinational banking and financial services corporation operating across 18 markets.

responsibilities

Write reusable, testable, and efficient code
Development of Microservices and web-services for data extraction/processing
Design and implement of low-latency, high-availability, and performant applications
Integration of user-facing elements developed by front-end developers with server side logic
Implementation of security and data protection
Integration of data storage solutions
Performance tuning, improvement, balancing, usability, automation
Work collaboratively with design team to understand end user requirements to provide technical solutions and for the implementation of new software features

requirements

3+ years of strong experience with Python
Experience with data stack in Python (Dask, Pandas, knowledge of core concepts of big data)
Experience with data transformation/data migration projects (banking would be best fit but experience in other business domains could be considered as well)
Monte Carlo simulation knowledge
Proficient English (written and spoken) B2
