Senior Python Developer for Software Company
Currently, we are looking for a Remote Senior Python Developer to join our team.
responsibilities
- Implement performance, benchmarking, scaling test infrastructure and tests written primarily in Python
- Assist with the integration of the Python automation scripts into a CI/CD pipeline.
- Proactively identify and fix the bottlenecks in tooling and processes
- Work alongside development, infrastructure teams and product managers to measure, identify issues and improve overall performance of the product
requirements
- 3+ years of experience in writing Python scripts for provisioning machines and interacting with REST APIs.
- Experience using Python to create graphs and charts using Matplotlib
- The ability to rapidly prototype ideas in Python
- The ability to write unit and integration tests using pytest
- Strong English language skills
- Solid experience with performance testing and benchmarking methodologies and tools
- Excellent writing skills to be able to document findings in detail, explain the causes and next steps
- Strong understanding of automation and orchestration
