Senior Python Web Developer
We are looking for a Senior Python Web Developer to join our remote team.
You will be responsible for developing complex Python applications and building RESTful APIs and JSON. You will be required to deploy to high-reliability production environments using Docker, Kubernetes, and Git. You must have excellent skills in RDBMS databases, especially PostgreSQL, and object-oriented programming and application design skills. Experience with Swagger is a must-have, and familiarity with UX design principles is desirable, but not required.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to build complex web applications and RESTful APIs
- Ensure the development process aligns with the business objectives of our clients
- Create and maintain high-performance production environments
- Participate in code reviews, design discussions, and daily standups
- Mentor junior developers and provide guidance on best practices
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of development processes
requirements
- 4+ years of experience developing database-driven web applications and high-performance application systems
- Strong skills in RDBMS databases, especially PostgreSQL
- Excellent development skills in complex Python applications
- Experience using and building RESTful APIs and JSON
- Experience deploying to high-reliability production environments using Docker, Kubernetes, and Git
- Strong object-oriented programming and application design skills
- Knowledge of Swagger/OpenAPI 3.0
- Knowledge of continuous integration, testing methodologies, TDD, and agile development methodologies
nice to have
- Experience with Web UI, including modern JavaScript frameworks (e.g., ReactJS, Redux)
- Familiarity with Amazon Web Services
- Experience with OpenAPI Spec (OAS)
