Senior Quality Assurance Analyst (Medical Group)
As a Senior Quality Assurance Analyst, you will be responsible for ensuring proactive identification and resolution of issues and defects that could affect the end-user experience. You will develop and maintain testing scripts for frontend applications, execute test cases to validate functionality, and thoroughly document and report any defects found. Additionally, you will provide training and mentoring to engineers and collaborate with designers, product managers, and other stakeholders to ensure successful project completion.
responsibilities
- Develop and maintain testing scripts and frameworks for frontend applications (using Reflect). Collaborate with developers and other QA team members to create efficient and effective test cases, covering functional and accessibility requirements
- Collaborate with the QE team and engineers to identify opportunities for test automation
- Execute test cases to validate the functionality, usability, and accessibility of web applications. Thoroughly document and report any defects or issues found during testing, ensuring clear communication with the development team
- Provide training and mentoring to engineers on best practices for writing testable code and conducting effective testing. Share knowledge and expertise to ensure the team's understanding of accessibility principles and QA methodologies
- Collaborate closely with engineers, UX designers, product managers, and other stakeholders to understand project requirements, address concerns, and ensure a smooth and successful QA process. Communicate test results, progress, and any potential risks or issues to relevant stakeholders
requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
- 3+ years of experience as a Quality Assurance Analyst focused on frontend web applications
- Proficiency in writing and executing test cases, test scripts, and test plans
- Working knowledge of SQL and familiarity with ReactJS
- Experience with test automation frameworks and tools (Reflect)
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with meticulous attention to detail
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with individuals and cross-functional teams

- Familiarity with automated testing in Agile development environments
- Experience with accessibility testing and a working knowledge of accessibility principles
- Ability to evaluate and improve QA processes and methodologies
- Ability to work in a fully remote, startup environment
- Understanding of the healthcare industry and related regulations
