Senior SAP ABAP Developer
We are in search of a Senior SAP ABAP Developer to join our remote team and contribute to ground-breaking solutions for our prestigious apparel client. As a Senior Developer, you will take charge of developing, testing, and deploying customized ABAP programs within the SAP S/4HANA environment. You will also play a key role in designing and developing enhancements for SAP Sales and Distribution and SAP-IS: Apparel and Footwear modules.
responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, and implement custom ABAP programs in the SAP S/4HANA environment
- Build enhancements to SAP Sales and Distribution and SAP-IS: Apparel and Footwear modules
- Write functional specifications, technical specifications, and test plans
- Perform code and performance optimization
- Collaborate with functional and technical teams to ensure the delivery of high-quality solutions
- Provide production support and issue resolution
- Contribute to project planning and estimation
- Stay up-to-date with SAP ABAP development and technology trends
requirements
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field
- At least 3 years of experience in SAP ABAP development in the SAP S/4HANA environment
- Experience in developing custom ABAP programs, interfaces, and reports using ABAP Workbench and Eclipse-based ABAP Development Tools (ADT)
- Expertise in designing and developing enhancements to SAP Sales and Distribution and SAP-IS: Apparel and Footwear modules
- Background in writing functional specifications, technical specifications, and test plans
- Knowledge of SAP S/4HANA migration and implementation
- Remarkable problem-solving and analytical skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English at a B2+ level
nice to have
- Experience with SAP FIORI and SAPUI5 development
- Knowledge of SAP AFS and SAP Sales B2B
