Senior SAP ABAP Developer
We are on the lookout for a Senior SAP ABAP Developer to join our remote team.
This role offers a unique opportunity to work on a cutting-edge project focused on BRIM ABAP development.
In this position, you will be responsible for designing and implementing custom ABAP solutions to meet the unique needs of our clients. This role requires a seasoned developer who can work collaboratively with cross-functional teams while driving the technical strategy for the project.
responsibilities
- Design and develop custom ABAP solutions to meet the unique needs of our clients
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and develop technical solutions
- Ensure high-quality code by conducting code reviews and implementing best practices
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior developers
- Identify areas of improvement and provide recommendations for optimizing existing ABAP solutions
- Create technical documentation to ensure knowledge transfer and future maintenance
- Participate in the full software development lifecycle, from requirements gathering to deployment
- Stay up-to-date with the latest SAP ABAP development trends and best practices
- Participate in project planning and estimation
- Provide technical assistance during testing and deployment phases
- Debug and troubleshoot technical issues as needed
requirements
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in SAP ABAP development, with a deep understanding of ABAP Core
- Proficiency in ABAP RESTful Programming Model (RAP) to create scalable and efficient applications
- Experience with SAP Fiori to enhance user experience and improve productivity
- Knowledge of SAP BRIM for creating customized billing solutions
- Strong experience in CDS to create customizable reports
- Familiarity with clean coding principles to ensure maintainable and efficient code
- Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams
- Experience working with remote teams in an Agile environment
- Excellent communication skills to articulate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
- Upper-Intermediate level of English proficiency for clear and effective communication with team members and stakeholders

- Experience with SAP S/4HANA migrations and upgrades
- Knowledge of SAP Cloud Platform for enhanced application development
- Experience with SAPUI5, SAP Web IDE, and SAP Process Orchestration
