We are currently seeking a Senior SAP ABAP Developer with extensive experience in SAP Sales and Distribution and SAP-IS: Apparel and Footwear to join our remote team for a project with one of the leading fashion houses. As a Senior SAP ABAP Developer, you will be responsible for developing and implementing SAP solutions and ensuring their alignment with the client's business requirements and industry standards.

responsibilities

Craft, implement, and deploy bespoke SAP ABAP solutions that seamlessly align with the client's business objectives and industry benchmarks
Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, comprising functional consultants, business analysts, and project managers, to guarantee the successful delivery of SAP solutions
Conduct rigorous unit testing and integration testing for SAP ABAP solutions to maintain system stability and integrity
Proactively identify and resolve technical issues that arise during development, testing, or production phases, ensuring system uptime and efficiency
Monitor and optimize SAP ABAP solutions on an ongoing basis to maximize system responsiveness and resource utilization
Serve as a technical mentor, providing expert guidance and support to junior developers and other team members, fostering their growth and expertise
Develop and maintain comprehensive technical documentation, including specifications, design documents, and test plans, to facilitate clear communication and knowledge transfer

requirements

3+ years of experience in SAP ABAP development in S/4HANA, including hands-on experience in ABAP Core, SAP Sales and Distribution, and SAP-IS: Apparel and Footwear
In-depth knowledge of SAP development tools, technologies, and methodologies
Expertise in developing, implementing, and testing custom SAP ABAP solutions
Ability to translate business requirements into technical specifications and implement them using ABAP programming concepts, techniques, and standards
Experience with SAP S/4HANA data conversion, migration and integration tools and techniques
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills for identifying and resolving technical issues and ensuring the optimal performance of SAP solutions
Excellent communication and collaboration skills for working with cross-functional teams, stakeholders, and clients
Proficiency in English at an upper-intermediate level
