Senior SAP ABAP Developer

We're looking for a skilled remote Senior SAP ABAP Developer to join our team and extend the functionality of our client's SAP S/4HANA system.

Our client is an apparel and footwear company that operates globally, and we need an experienced developer who can work on SAP Sales and Distribution and SAP-IS modules. As a Senior SAP ABAP Developer, you will be responsible for developing, designing, and testing SAP ABAP programs and ensuring that they are scalable, maintainable, and efficient.

responsibilities

Extend existing or introduce new functionality to meet business requirements
Design, develop, and test SAP ABAP programs to ensure they are scalable, maintainable, and efficient
Collaborate with functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into technical design
Provide technical expertise and guidance to other developers on the team
Ensure that all development work is delivered on time and to a high standard
Conduct code reviews to ensure that code is adhering to best practices and is maintainable
Participate in system testing, user acceptance testing, and deployment activities

requirements

At least 3 years of experience in SAP ABAP development, with a focus on S/4HANA
Experience with SAP Sales and Distribution and SAP-IS modules
Strong adherence to Clean Code principles and Test-Driven Development (TDD)
Expertise in ABAP Core and Object-Oriented Programming (OOP)
Experience with debugging and performance tuning of SAP programs
Ability to design and implement complex SAP solutions
Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
Proficiency in English at an Upper-Intermediate level
