Senior SAP ABAP Developer
We are currently seeking a remote Senior SAP ABAP Developer with experience in SAP Sales and Distribution and SAP-IS: Apparel and Footwear to join our team. As a key member of our development team, you will extend existing or introduce new functionality using ABAP in S/4HANA. You will work with cross-functional teams to design, develop and implement solutions that meet our business needs.
responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain SAP custom programs, interfaces, reports, and enhancements using ABAP in S/4HANA
- Work with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and design technical solutions that meet business needs
- Collaborate with functional teams to understand business processes and identify opportunities for process improvement through technical solutions
- Provide technical guidance and support to team members
- Ensure that all development work is completed on time, within budget, and to the required level of quality
- Participate in code reviews and ensure that all development work follows best practices and coding standards
requirements
- Strong experience in ABAP Core with a minimum of 3 years of experience in SAP development
- Experience in developing solutions for SAP Sales and Distribution and SAP-IS: Apparel and Footwear
- Strong adherence to Clean Code principles and Test Driven Development (TDD)
- Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze and resolve complex technical issues
- Experience working with cross-functional teams to deliver technical solutions to business requirements
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English at an Upper-Intermediate level
nice to have
- Knowledge of SAP AFS and SAP Sales B2B
- Certification in SAP ABAP development or related fields
