We are seeking a highly skilled Senior SAP MDG Consultant to join our remote team and take charge of configuring and customizing MDG BP/Finance/Custom data objects. The ideal candidate should have 3 years or more of relevant experience working with SAP MDG and ERP tools. The candidate should also possess strong knowledge of SAP SD/MM/FI processes and have hands-on experience in incident management, change management, and data integration across systems. In this role, you will be responsible for configuring and customizing the MDG framework to ensure efficient data modeling, process modeling, key mapping, workflows, validations, replication, and error handling. responsibilities
- Configure and customize MDG BP/Finance/Custom data objects using the MDG application framework and various governance API's effectively
- Perform configurations and customizations in data modeling, process modeling, key mapping, duplicate checks, workflows, validations, replication, and error handling
- Work on SAP MM/SD/FI modules with a clear understanding of business processes
- Handle data integration between SAP MDG and ECC system
- Manage inbound and outbound IDocs and error management
- Enrich master data via workflows and analyze failures and data issues during master creation and extension in the ECC system
- Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and handle escalations proficiently
requirements
- 3 years or more of relevant experience working with SAP MDG and ERP tools
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
- Strong knowledge of SAP SD/MM/FI processes and hands-on experience in incident management, change management, and data integration across systems
- Expertise in configuring and customizing the MDG framework, including data modeling, process modeling, key mapping, workflows, validations, replication, and error handling
- Experience working with SAP ECC and handling inbound and outbound IDocs and error management
- Strong grasp of XML and Data Flow Diagrams
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English (Upper-Intermediate level)
nice to have
- Certification in SAP MDG and/or SAP MM/SD
- Experience working in an Agile DevOps model
- Proficiency in SAP SD Technical
