Senior SOX User Access Reviews Consultant
We are looking for a remote Senior SOX User Access Reviews Consultant to join our team and help with SOX User access Reviews and SOC Type II reports validation.
This role involves working on a project that focuses on periodic verification processes to confirm that only authorized users have access to applications or infrastructure, which aligns with the Sarbanes-Oxley Act (SOX).
responsibilities
- Perform user access reviews under the Sarbanes-Oxley Act (SOX) periodically
- Ensure that only legitimate users have access to secure data, revoking access from individuals who should not have it
- Address scenarios such as users who leave a team but still retain previous team access privileges, users who change roles but maintain previous role access, and users who leave the enterprise but still have access rights
- Perform SOC Type II audits and report validation
- Ensure that a user’s reporting manager change is appropriately reflected in access attestation communication
requirements
- 3+ years of experience in GRC (Governance, Risk, and Compliance) roles with a focus on SOX compliance
- Extensive knowledge of SOX (Sarbanes-Oxley Act) and experience performing user access reviews
- Experience with SOC Type II audits and report validation
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, able to convey complex compliance concepts clearly to different stakeholders
- B2+ English level proficiency
