Senior Systems Engineer
We are currently looking for a Senior DevOps Engineer to join our remote team. Our client is a leading provider of cloud-based software solutions for the healthcare industry. As a DevOps Engineer, you will play a key role in the development and maintenance of our client's infrastructure, ensuring the availability, scalability, and reliability of their software solutions.
responsibilities
- Develop and maintain infrastructure as code using Terraform
- Collaborate with the development team to ensure the successful delivery of software solutions
- Design and implement automated deployment pipelines using Jenkins or similar tools
- Monitor and troubleshoot production systems, ensuring their availability, scalability, and reliability
- Proactively identify and resolve performance and scalability issues
- Develop and maintain disaster recovery and business continuity plans
- Stay up-to-date with emerging trends and technologies in DevOps
requirements
- 3+ years of experience in DevOps or a related field, with a strong focus on Infrastructure as Code development and maintenance
- Experience with Terraform, including managing, maintaining and evolving Terraform modules
- Proficiency in Agile methodologies and practices, including Scrum, Kanban, and Agile Manifesto
- Experience with Ruby or a similar scripting language
- Excellent spoken and written English at an Upper-Intermediate level or higher
nice to have
- Good undertanding of infrastructure automation tools such as Ansible or Chef
- Experience with monitoring tools such as Datadog or Prometheus
