Senior Talend Engineer for an Information Technology and Services Company

We are currently looking for a remote Senior Talend Engineer with 3+ years of experience with Talend Open Studio to join our team.

The customer is a global leader in providing trusted insights and analytics that helps to increase the pace of innovation.

responsibilities

Create documents, develop, test and deploy data integration processes using Talend Open Studio
Collaborate with the team, analyze and apply business rules to data transformations
Perform data validation, cleansing and analysis
Test, debug and document ETL processes, SQL queries and stored procedures
Analyze data from various sources, including databases and flat files
ETL development, deployment, optimization, support, defect fixes, unit testing and integration testing
Develop error and exception handling processes
Adopt integration standards, best practices while creating ETL jobs

requirements

3+ years of experience with Talend Open Studio
Background in database systems (such as Oracle, Microsoft SQL Server, Amazon Redshift and Snowflake)
Knowledge of relational and dimensional database structures, data models
Knowledge of SQL, including the ability to write stored procedures, triggers, functions
Python and Core Java skills
Knowledge of or at least awareness of object-oriented programming concepts
English level - B2+
