Software Architect II with Azure and AWS

We are seeking a Software Architect I to join our remote team.

As a middle management member, you will play a crucial role as an individual contributor, consulting on the best approach for migration from AWS to either AWS Outpost or Azure Stack HCI. You will be responsible for providing expert guidance on migration approaches and tools, as well as sharing your cloud knowledge with the team.

responsibilities
  • Consult with stakeholders to determine the best migration approach from AWS to either AWS Outpost or Azure Stack HCI
  • Evaluate the feasibility of migration approaches and provide recommendations based on the client's needs and objectives
  • Develop and maintain a migration roadmap, highlighting key milestones and deliverables
  • Create and maintain migration-related documentation, including technical specifications, implementation plans, and post-migration support
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers, DevOps, and project managers, to ensure seamless migration and project delivery
  • Provide cloud knowledge sharing and training to the team members to enhance their skills and capabilities
  • Engage with the mentor for continuous learning and development of technical and soft skills
requirements
  • Minimum of 10 years of hands-on experience in software development
  • 5+ years of experience in Solution Architecture, specifically in the cloud migration space
  • Experience with AWS Outposts, Amazon Web Services, and Azure Stack HCI
  • Expertise in migration approaches and tools
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and make sound decisions
  • Self-driven and proactive in keeping up-to-date with the latest industry trends and technologies
  • Upper-intermediate level of English proficiency, enabling effective communication with international clients and team members
