Lead IBM BPM Engineer

We are seeking a remote Lead IBM BPM Engineer to join our team and lead a project for our client. Your primary focus will be reviewing IBM Business Automation Workflow (BAW) code, analyzing and documenting all SQLs found, and replacing them with new APIs done by the App team. You will also be responsible for communicating with our Epam teams, Architects, and Clients, often directly. As a Lead Engineer, you will guide and mentor 1-2 Java Engineers to join this effort, implementing the changes necessary to replace direct SQL calls with new API integrations.

responsibilities

Review IBM BAW code and find all places with Oracle requests, stored procedures, etc.
Analyze and document all SQLs found and give them to the App team to implement similar APIs
Replace all SQLs found with new APIs done by the App team
Communicate with EPAM teams, Architect, and Clients, often directly
Come up with a high-level roadmap with the help of EPAM Architect
Guide and mentor 1-2 Java Engineers to join this effort

requirements

At least 5 years of experience in IBM BPM with hands-on experience in IBM BAW
1+ year of relevant leadership experience
Proficiency in IBM BAW Script component and Coach View
Experience in Service Integration and Rest API endpoint integration
Deep understanding of SQL component integration and working knowledge of SQL databases
Proficiency in IBM WebSphere and IID (Integrated Integration Developer)
Proficiency in Java and Git
Experience in Agile methodologies and Jira
Fluent in English with Upper-Intermediate level
