Lead PHP Developer
We are seeking a highly experienced remote Lead PHP Developer to become an integral part of our team. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining our core product, as well as leading and mentoring a team of developers. You will also play a key role in shaping the product roadmap, ensuring that our product is scalable, reliable, and high performing.
responsibilities
- Lead, mentor, and manage a team of developers, ensuring that they are meeting their goals and deliverables
- Collaborate with product management and design teams to define product roadmap and feature requirements
- Design, develop, and maintain our core product, ensuring that it is scalable, reliable, and high-performing
- Develop and maintain our backend infrastructure, including database design and administration
- Ensure that our codebase is maintainable and adheres to best practices
- Perform code reviews and provide feedback to team members
- Identify and mitigate technical debt and other technical risks
- Participate in hiring and onboarding of new team members
requirements
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in PHP development, with a strong focus on web applications
- Expertise in MySQL database design and administration
- Strong proficiency in SugarCRM and PHP frameworks such as Laravel
- Proficiency in .NET and Microsoft Azure
- Experience in performance profiling and optimization, with expertise in xDebug
- Experience in leading and mentoring a team of developers
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English (Upper-Intermediate level)
nice to have
- Experience with ReactJS or other frontend frameworks
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies
- Experience with DevOps processes
