Middle Automation Tester in Java for Retail Company
Currently, we are looking for a remote Middle Automation Tester in Java to join our team.
responsibilities
- Implement and support functional tests and BDD scenarios against a set of web applications
- Implement automated tests for a set of services with API endpoints
- Design, evaluate and enhance test scripts to make sure they follow best practices
- Maintain and enhance existing test framework
- Work closely with multiple developments, QA, and business analysis teams daily
requirements
- 2+ years of relevant experience
- Solid knowledge of Java
- Experience with WebDriver
- BDD/BDT (Cucumber/jBehave)
- jUnit/TestNG
- Familiarity with web test automation approaches
- Familiarity with test automation design concepts and best practices (e.g. framework layering, test data management, etc.)
- Familiarity with API test automation
- Good working level of English and good communication skills
- Ability to productively work independently with no supervision
- Experience working in an Agile environment
nice to have
- Familiarity with REST Assured is desirable
- Familiarity with build tools (Maven, Gradle) is desirable
- Familiarity with CI/CD tools and concepts is desirable
- Experience working with AEM is a plus
- Experience working with Demandware is a plus
