This key role within our engineering team will involve the creation and maintenance of a robust, self-service platform to streamline the software development life cycle (SDLC) on a global scale. The successful candidate will play an instrumental role in optimizing our processes and ensuring a seamless development experience for our teams across the organization. Your main duties will include designing and implementing a scalable and robust self-service platform. You will also be required to integrate a variety of AWS serverless and PaaS Cloud services to ensure smooth and secure access to the resources required for development, testing, and deployment.

The perfect fit would be someone who has hands-on DevOps or SRE experience, as well as an in-depth understanding of cost analysis and optimization in large AWS environments. Your expertise will be pivotal in optimizing our processes and guaranteeing a smooth, efficient developmental experience for our development teams across the organization. Your main responsibilities will encompass designing and implementing a scalable and robust self-service platform. Furthermore, you will integrate a vast range of AWS serverless and PaaS Cloud services to facilitate seamless and secure access to resources necessary for development, testing, and deployment.

In this role, you will be responsible for developing, maintaining, and scaling our cloud-based financial orchestration platform. You will lead a team of developers and work closely with other departments to ensure the platform meets the needs of our customers. The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of relevant work experience, 1+ years of relevant leadership experience, and a strong understanding of Java 17, AWS, Storm, Kafka, Cassandra, Elasticsearch, Zookeeper, Hazelcast, and Spring.

As a Lead DevOps Engineer, you will oversee the management of multiple products and lead technical teams through all software development life cycle phases. Your strategic thinking and utilization of processes, tools, and frameworks will ensure effectiveness across various stakeholders. Your role will involve creating organizational alignment to unify the team towards the same vision.

As a part of this role, you will collaborate with software engineering teams to ensure high performance and observability of services in cloud environments. The successful candidate will have a deep technical understanding of tools such as Splunk, Prometheus, Grafana, and AWS CloudWatch, and be proficient in Python, Node.js, Golang, or similar languages, and git.
